In 1986 Jim started working in plastics as a salesman for Bamberger Polymers out of their Houston office selling prime and wide-spec olefins and styrenic resins. In 1990 Jim went to work for Transource Polymers in California selling prime distribution resins into the West Coast blow molding, blown film, injection molding, profile / sheet extrusion markets. In addition to selling prime resins, Jim has always sold both second quality resins and plastic regrind materials where he has worked. In 1995 Jim started working for a company selling prime and wide-spec engineering resins. At this company he developed in-house plastics recycling programs for the major polymer manufacturers. In 1996 Jim moved back to Houston where he currently develops PA 66, PA 6, PVB, and Acrylic plastic recycling programs. He currently sells PVB trim scrap and rolls, PMMA sheet and regrinds, PA 66 / PA 6 virgin pellets, fiber bales, and regrinds. Over the years he has developed plastic recycling programs, and sold off-grade pellets and scrap for such companies as DuPont, Invista, Ascend, BASF, Honeywell, NYCOA, CYRO Industries, Plaskolite, Lucite, Arkema-Altuglas, Aristech Acrylics, and Ticona.
